Monica Sex is one of the most successful contemporary rock bands in Israel. The band was formed in 1993 in Tel-Aviv. The band went through tough times before releasing their first album "פצעים ונשיקות" (Wounds and Kisses) in 1995. With the album success, the band translated their lyrics to English and performed in U.S night clubs. The band's greatest hit was "Grey Blow" - "מכה אפורה", which was the theme song for a 1997 Israeli T.V show named Florentin, and made Monica Sex gain recognition in Israel.
